Interests

He has had a joint appointment with the Department of Communicative Disorders and with the Waisman Center from 1975 to the present. His clinical specialty area is with infants, children and challenging to test individuals using behavioral test protocols. He provides audiological services to the Developmental Disabilities Clinic, the Cerebral Palsy Clinic, the Genetic Clinic, The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Clinic and well as providing consulting services to Central Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled-a residential program for children and adults with significant developmental delays and medical conditions. He is a mentor on a Maternal Health Leadership Project and has served on committees and boards of various local, state and national and international organizations. He has an interest in hearing health care and other related services in developing countries and has worked on various projects in Nicaragua. His major area of interest is in primary prevention of hearing loss and other medical conditions through doable projects, e.g., potable water.
